A gentle shoulder and neck massage to allow time for the oils to penetrate, focusing on releasing tension, strengthening the hair and calming the nervous system. Relaxing, rhythmic hair brushing, combing and hair pulling stimulates the blood flow to the hair follicles. To close the ritual, incense is burnt to naturally scent the hair, clear stagnant energy and set intentions.
